These Terms of Service are a working draft for Sperbs Timepieces LLC. They are based on the current business questionnaire and should be reviewed by Jason and legal counsel before launch.
Business information
Sperbs Timepieces LLC is an independent pre-owned luxury watch dealer located at 7 North Broad Street, Suite 9, Lower Level, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450. The business serves buyers locally, nationally, and, when arranged, internationally.
Authenticity guarantee
Every watch sold by Sperbs Timepieces is guaranteed authentic. Watches may be reviewed through in-house inspection and, when appropriate, outside expert or third-party authentication.
Authentication process
The review process may include visual inspection, serial and reference verification, box, papers, and warranty-card review, timegrapher testing, pressure testing when relevant, stolen-watch database checks, service-history review, watchmaker inspection, and high-resolution photos or video before delivery.
Pricing and availability
Prices and availability are subject to change until a purchase, reservation, or other agreement is confirmed in writing. Product details are provided in good faith and should be reviewed before purchase.
Purchases and reservations
Some watches may be available through direct Shopify checkout, while higher-value or inquiry-based pieces may require confirmation with Jason before payment is arranged. A reserve request does not charge the buyer automatically; it starts a direct follow-up to confirm availability, payment method, shipping, and final purchase details.
Sourcing terms
For Find A Watch requests, a 10% deposit starts the sourcing search. The typical sourcing timeline is 2 to 5 days. The deposit is applied to the purchase if the buyer proceeds and is refunded if Sperbs Timepieces cannot source the requested watch.
Placeholder: confirm whether the sourcing deposit is also refunded if a watch is found but the buyer chooses not to proceed.
Selling, trade-ins, and consignment
Sperbs Timepieces may buy watches outright, accept trade-ins, and occasionally offer consignment. Consignment terms are currently listed as 10% of the final value of the watch on a 45-day term, with Sperbs Timepieces holding the watch during the consignment period.

Warranty
Based on the questionnaire, warranty coverage includes a 7-day warranty for authentication issues that may arise and a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects.
Placeholder: exact warranty exclusions, claim process, repair approval, transferability, water damage, accidental damage, third-party service, wear-and-tear, and manufacturer-warranty interaction must be confirmed before launch.
Returns and refunds
The questionnaire includes all-sales-final/no-returns, store-credit-only, a 7-day return window, and a different policy for international purchases. Because those answers overlap, the working version is: all sales are final unless return eligibility is confirmed in writing; if a return is approved, it may be limited to store credit within 7 days.

Shipping
Domestic shipping within the continental United States is listed as included in the price. Watches ship by FedEx Overnight, fully insured, with signature required.

Aftercare
Sperbs Timepieces offers a buyback program and lifetime support for future questions.
Limitation of liability
